Natalie Hodge

Natalie O. Hodge

Natalie Hodge leads the British Virgin Islands Film Commission with a strong foundation in media production, marketing and public-sector innovation. With experience at Tyler Perry Studios, Rainforest Films and other US-based production companies, she brings a filmmaker’s eye and a strategist’s precision to shaping the BVI’s film industry. She holds an MBA in Marketing and a BFA in Media Production, and is dedicated to expanding the territory’s presence on the global film stage while nurturing opportunities for local storytellers.

Shadé Blackman

Shadé Blackman supports the daily operations of the Film Commission, working closely with filmmakers, local partners and government agencies. Her role centres on coordinating permits, guiding productions through location logistics and assisting with events and industry engagement. Known for her organisation, professionalism and strong community rapport, she ensures that visiting filmmakers experience a smooth and well-supported production process in the BVI.
