ABOUT US
VISION: The British Virgin Islands Film Commission envisions the British Virgin Islands being positioned as a unique filming destination while contributing to economic growth in the Territory’s film industry in a manner that is mutually beneficial to the BVI Tourist Board’s vision as well as the local Film Industry.
MISSION: To support the growth of a vibrant and sustainable film industry in the British Virgin Islands, the Film Commission is committed to empowering local professionals by providing guidance, resources, and opportunities for development. Through active collaboration, skills-building initiatives, and industry access, the Commission aims to strengthen local talent, enhance participation in productions, and ensure that the economic and creative benefits of filmmaking are shared within the community.
The BVI Film Commission (BVIFC) was established in 1992 to regulate film production activity in the Territory, market the BVI as a premier film production location and to foster the development of local production activity and related professional services in the Territory.
